Hoisin Udon Noodle - Serves 2
Thick udon noodles with tender marinated beef and vegetables and our in house made hoisin sauce.

Hoisin Sauce: Sugar, Soy Sauce, Garlic, Tapioca Starch, Bay Leaf, Star Anise, Chili Pepper, Vegetable Stock

High heat is the usual go-to, but it’s also the easiest way to scorch a good meal. You can stand guard over the stove, but you don’t have to. Around here we say “burn & learn” but we’d rather you skip the burning and just enjoy the learning. Your meal was prepped with care—follow the heating steps for the best flavour.
1.In a medium to large frying pan add 1 oz of your preferred cooking oil (olive, canola, avocado or sesame). Heat on medium heat.
2.Remove all contents from your kit. Cut open each package.
3.Once your oil is hot, add your veggies, cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring frequently.
4.Add your protein, cooking for 3-4 minutes more.
5.To the pan, add 1 oz of water per portion. Deglaze, scraping any crisp bits off the pan. Bring to a full simmer for 2-3 minutes.
6.Continue cooking until desired doneness, then turn heat down to low to avoid splatter when adding the sauce.
7.Add sauce, then turn back to medium heat and bring sauce to a full simmer, 1 minute minimum or until the sauce reduces to your desired consistency.
8.Microwave your rice or noodles in a microwave-safe serving dish until hot, 2-3 minutes.
9.Carefully pour the contents of your frying pan over the rice or noodles, or plate separately.
