High heat is the usual go-to, but it’s also the easiest way to scorch a good meal. You can stand guard over the stove, but you don’t have to. Around here we say “burn & learn” but we’d rather you skip the burning and just enjoy the learning. Your meal was prepped with care—follow the heating steps for the best flavour.
.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
.Place calzone on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Cook calzone 20 minutes on the bottom rack. Internal temperature should reach 140 degrees.
.Turn oven to high broil and leave on bottom rack. Cook for 5-10 minutes until crisp and internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. When an oven is on broil, food can quickly burn. Do not go change the channel, stand guard!
.Coleslaw is served on the side - mix with dressing, toss to combine.
.Bon Appétit!
